Biden: China plans to take America’s place in the world.
According to CNN, US President Joe Biden announced in an interview that China is trying to take the place of the United States as the country with the largest economy and military capability in the world.
In this regard, the American president said that European countries should expand their influence by investing in countries in Africa and Latin America, and in this way stop China’s influence.
Biden also said about Ukraine’s membership in NATO that Ukraine is not yet ready to join NATO. The US president stressed that the war in Ukraine must end before NATO members can consider Ukraine’s annexation.
It should be noted that Jake Sullivan, the American national security advisor, stated earlier on Friday, on the eve of the upcoming meeting of NATO members next week, that Ukraine will never join the group of NATO member states.
Vladimir Zelensky, before the Vilnius meeting of NATO members in Lithuania next week (July 11 and 12), is currently intensifying diplomatic contacts and consultations among EU member states to gain support for joining NATO.
