Within hours of the election of Naftali Bennett as Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, the White House announced that he had spoken to US President Joe Biden on the telephone.
According to a White House statement, Biden agreed on a telephone call to consult with Naftali Bennett on all issues related to regional security, including Iran.
“Biden has made it clear to Naftali Bennett that the Washington administration will work with her to promote peace and security between Israelis and Palestinians,” the statement said.
While congratulating Bennett on winning the Israeli election, Biden reaffirmed his decades-long commitment to supporting the Israeli-American alliance, as well as to ensuring Israel’s security.
Following the ouster of Benjamin Netanyahu from power in the Zionist regime, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken stressed that Washington will continue to work with Tel Aviv to advance peace and will remain steadfast in its commitment to securing the regime.
The Secretary of State also stressed that we warmly welcome the new administration in Israel and look forward to working closely with Naftali Bint-Yair Lapid.
An hour ago, in a vote in the Israeli Knesset, Naftali Bennett won the vote of confidence needed to end Netanyahu’s presidency.
