The former prime minister of the Zionist regime, Ehud Barak, revealed on Tuesday the goals of the United States in the indirect negotiations between the regime and Lebanon regarding maritime borders.
Barak told the Israel Radio and Television Organization (KAN), which is considered a semi-official organization: “The story here is really with the Americans, who are leading international efforts so that Europe does not freeze next winter, and they do not stop supporting Ukraine.” .
He also emphasized: “America is trying hard to reach every country that extracts gas in the world, in order to increase the supply and prevent Russian gas from reaching Europe.”
At the same time, this former Zionist official read the decision of the Zionist officials to resolve the disputes over the gas fields with Lebanon as correct and claimed: “The Qana field, which is located in Lebanon, has never been excavated or investigated. “No one knows what’s in it.”
Barak stated that the process of extracting gas from his field should be started and clarified: Americans want this thing from Israel. They give us three billion dollars a year and veto any resolution against us in the United Nations. They need us today.
