Bahraini political activist Jafar al-Hesabi says Al-Khalifa exploits the rights of the people and does not want sovereignty.
While speaking to the “Hadith of Bahrain” program, he added: “If the Manama authorities do not want to wake up, and stand on the stubbornness and tyranny that has existed in recent decades, they will lose time ” Al-Khalifa dynasty will reach its end, and will vanish from the history.
When asked whether the opposition would win a seat in parliament, he said: “The Al-Khalifa regime does not care about the proposals of the opposition and the nation, to address important crises, and it is unlikely that Manama officials will pave the way for the opposition to participate in politics and management.”
In this regard, Sheikh Abdullah Al-Saleh, a member of the Bahrain Islamic Association, stressed that the statement of the opposition forces on the tenth anniversary of the Bahraini revolution is basically a message to the Bahraini people and the world because everyone was waiting to see a reaction from the opposition forces.
He added: “All parties of the opposition agree on a set of issues mentioned in the tenth-anniversary statement.” The preamble to the declaration addresses the establishment of national sovereignty, which emphasizes that people have equal sovereignty, a source of power, democracy, a peaceful transfer of power, and the right to self-determination and citizenship.
Sheikh Abdullah Al-Saleh added: “There were rumors that there were differences between the opposition spectrums.” There are certainly different views in the opposition, but there are positions on which all spectrums of the opposition agree.
