Bahraini official: Iran is our enemy, we rely on the United States and Israel.
Reiterating false allegations against the Islamic Republic of Iran, Bahrain’s Interior Minister called Bahrain the number one enemy of Bahrain.
“Our first, second and third enemies are Iran, and we trust the regime and the United States to ensure our security after the signing of compromise agreements with the Zionist regime,” said Bahraini Interior Minister Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.
According to the Bahrain Mirror website, Al-Khalifa, in a meeting with a group of American businessmen that lasted an hour and a half, once again accused Iran of transferring weapons and explosives and trying to launch a drone strike against Bahrain, as well as military training of Bahraini Shiites.
Regarding Bahrain’s security, he said, “Bahrain is a small country, and given the deep security innovation, our strategy is to create multiple layers of security, and we rely on our allies like the United States, and now that the Abraham Accords have been signed (compromise “With the Zionist regime, a new layer has been created to strengthen our security.”
He also expressed concern about the agreement between Iran and the United States, claiming that “this agreement emboldens the Tehran regime.” Al-Khalifa also accused Iran of involvement in the 2011 events in Bahrain and of supporting the country’s Shiites.
