Assad Meets Archbishops Of Australian Churches.
According to SANA, Syrian President Bashar Assad on Sunday hosted a delegation of heads of Christian churches, including the bishops of the Armenian Catholic Church, the Armenian Orthodox Church, and the Australian Orthodox Church.
During this meeting with the said delegation, Bashar Assad discussed the role of Eastern churches in the moral field in Australia and other countries of the world regarding Syria and the political and economic war against it.
On the other hand, the Christian bishops emphasized the continuation of action to defeat the cruel sanctions against the Syrians and to reduce the consequences of the war and its material and social effects on Syria.
They announced that the purpose of their presence in Syria is actually to continue their role in Syria.
