Arrest of two Palestinians in 1948 on suspicion of shooting at Zionists.
The Zionist regime’s internal intelligence organization claimed that two Palestinians had been detained in the 1948 occupied territories on suspicion of shooting at settlers.
The Zionist regime’s intelligence and internal security organization, Shabak or Shin Bet, announced that it had arrested two Palestinians in the town of Al-Led in the 1948 occupied territories.
According to Shahab, Shabak claims that the two Palestinians shot at a number of Zionist settlers in Al-Ald during Operation Saif al-Quds, and that the shooting left one resident injured.
Shabak also claimed that the two detained Palestinians were involved in other clashes that took place in Al-Lad during that period.
The battle of Saif al-Quds, which took place last May between the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip and the Zionist regime. The Palestinians of the 1948 Occupied Territories also joined the battle in an unprecedented way and protested.
During the eleven-day battle, the people of the West Bank and the 1948 Occupied Palestinian Territories staged a nationwide strike for the first time in decades to declare solidarity with the people of Gaza and Jerusalem and condemn the crimes of the Zionist regime.
The Zionist regime, which was surprised by the wave of protests in the city of Al-Led inside the 1948 occupied territories, at the same time as the battle of Saif al-Quds, made extensive detentions.
