Aoun warns Westerners: Lebanon and its sons are alive.
Indirectly referring to the danger of Westernization in Lebanon against the resistance, the Lebanese president stressed that Lebanon is alive with all its pillars and children.
Speaking to Lebanese on the eve of the Lebanese parliamentary elections, Lebanese President Michel Aoun called on the Lebanese people to take part in the elections and said: “The time has come to audit and determine the options.”
According to the publication, Aoun said that auditing is always through the ballot box, adding: “Elections are your opportunity, so do not waste it; Especially after the facts that were revealed in these two years and the lies that were exposed and the faces of corruption were identified.
“Thirty years ago, we were forced into a big lie,” the Lebanese president said, referring to the Lebanese people’s great responsibility of auditing corrupt and thieves in their country. They made us believe that the situation of the lira in the country is good and our money is available and there is no need to worry. Such a lie is undoubtedly enjoyable and comfortable; But time had to come and we had to pay for it, and the longer this period lasted, the heavier we paid.
The Lebanese president said: “Today there is a great campaign of despair, the title of which is that Lebanon has failed and gone bankrupt; “Leave it and run.” Not…! I said years ago and I repeat here that Lebanon has been looted. Its money has been smuggled abroad. Not broken or bankrupt. I am someone who for more than 25 years has always warned about the fiscal policies that mortgage the country and the economic policies that lead to future crises.
The Lebanese president said: “Today, in order to improve the situation in Lebanon, the exchange of accusations and responsibilities is useless. The judiciary must do its job, announce the names of the corrupt people and prosecute them, and some of these corruptors are known.”
“We have resources and energies that can save the economy and the country, so do not despair,” Aoun added. If you can elect representatives who will make the necessary laws to save the country and seek to protect your rights, we will have a real opportunity.
