Ansarullah: Riyadh must wait for our painful attacks.
Yemeni Ansarullah political council member says Yemeni army and popular committees will soon respond strongly to Saudi army airstrikes on Sanaa.
Mohammed al-Bakhiti, a member of Yemen’s Ansar al-Islam political council, said in an interview that the Sanaa government would respond with an attack and that the Saudi government would soon receive a painful response.
He told Sputnik that the Saudi government had reached a stalemate in the war against Yemen and was unable to achieve any results. The country has been the target of intense rocket and drone strikes in recent years, and has now resorted to airstrikes against civilians and residential and civilian areas, such as Sanaa Airport.
He also said that with the heavy bombardment of Sanaa Airport, the airport is no longer usable. The Saudis have also bombed the most important bridges of Sanaa, and all this shows that they are punishing the Yemeni people with military strikes and the siege of Yemen.
“Mohammad al-Bakhiti” then said that attacks on civilians, women and children will not go unanswered, and that Yemen today has the ability to attack deep into Saudi Arabia. The Saudi attacks once again show the hypocritical position of the international community, and so far no statement has been issued condemning the attacks by Saudi Arabia or the UAE on civilian areas. Statements condemning these attacks are issued; However, the facts of the war against Yemen are becoming clear to the public opinion of the world and the Arab and Islamic world.
The Yemeni political council member also stressed that the Yemeni war has well illustrated the inefficiency of international policy, which relies on the United Nations and the Security Council, and that today the world needs a new order based on justice more than ever, or at least the world should. Adhere to the agreements it has made, such as banning attacks on civilians.
Regarding the war in Ma’rib and its connection to the airstrikes on Sanaa, Mohammed al-Bakhiti said that there is no doubt that there is a connection between the advance of the army forces and the popular committees in Ma’rib with the intensification of the attacks on Sanaa and that the enemy seeks revenge on civilians. The army and Ansar al-Islam forces target only military or strategic targets deep in Saudi territory.
