Another martyred as a result of torture and medical negligence in Bahraini prisons.
The Al-Wefaq Society of Bahrain announced that “Ali Ghambar”, one of the revolutionary youth of Bahrain, was martyred this afternoon as a result of ill-treatment and intentional medical negligence in prison.
According to Bahraini human rights defender Ebtesam al-Sayegh, Martyr Ali Ghambar was sentenced to more than 37 years in prison and deprivation of citizenship. Ghambar was tortured in prison with a tumor on his face, which, with the careless negligence of the prison authorities, escaped the rest of his body and the work to a media outlet where the prison authorities released him in July 2018 for fear of his death in prison. .
He returned to Bahrain after a period of treatment in the United Kingdom and then to Singapore, and was told by human rights activist in London Seyed Ahmad al-Wada’i that he would have been hopeful if he had been treated earlier and before Rahe was involved, but Now the work is over.
Ali Ghambar’s condition worsened when he returned to Bahrain as King Hojjat Hospital, the only suitable treatment center, refused to provide services to him because he was a political prisoner.
Ali Ghambar was martyred today after enduring years of suffering at noon today to be another witness to the endless oppression of Al-Khalifa.
It is worth mentioning that Jamiat Al-Wefaq and other revolutionary currents in Bahrain asked the people to take an active part in his funeral, which was welcomed by the people.
