America’s secret wars in the world revealed.
An American publication has revealed documents that show that the United States has secretly waged a proxy war around the world under the guise of fighting terrorism.
The American website “Intercept” has reported that the United States has conducted at least 23 proxy wars around the world under the name of fighting terrorism.
According to a recent article in the Intercept, the United States has used a secret authority called “127e” to launch at least 23 proxy wars since 2017. This media has claimed that it has obtained documents that have not been seen before and has talked with high-ranking officials who are aware of this issue.
The Intercept obtained the documents through the Freedom of Information Act and says they officially confirm for the first time that at least 14 so-called “127e” programs were active in West Asia and the Asia-Pacific region as of 2020.
In total, the Pentagon reportedly launched 23 separate 127e programs worldwide between 2017 and 2020, costing US taxpayers $310 million, according to the report.
The Intercept explains that 127e is one of several largely unknown authorizations that Congress has granted the Defense Department over the past two decades. The authorization allows U.S. commandos to conduct “counterterrorism operations” in cooperation with foreign and unconventional partners around the world with minimal foreign oversight.
According to the report, the program allows the United States to arm, train, and supply intelligence to foreign forces, and unlike traditional foreign assistance programs that focus on building local capacity in partner countries, under the E127 program, “surrogate forces,” from orders They follow the US and carry out Washington’s missions against US enemies to achieve US goals, essentially acting as the Pentagon’s proxy military.
According to the outlet, almost no information about the operation was ever shared with any member of Congress or State Department officials. It is generally unclear where these operations will take place, the number of these operations, the targets, or even the identity of the foreign forces with whom the United States is working to implement these projects, all of which are shrouded in mystery.
