America’s actions are the cause of aggravating the electricity crisis in Iraq.
According to Al-Maloumah, “Hossein Al-Sabari”, one of the representatives of the Iraqi parliament, emphasized that one of the reasons for the deterioration of the situation in this country and the emergence of the electricity crisis in Iraq is the hands behind the curtain of America.
He further added: This crisis in Iraq has disappointed the hopes of the country’s citizens. The electricity crisis and its interruption for 2 to 4 hours during the day is not acceptable considering that we are in the summer.
Al-Sabri added: The actions of the Iraqi government and the meeting with the officials of the German Siemens and the American General Electric companies were supposed to improve the situation in the country, but in fact we do not see any change regarding the Iraqi electricity crisis.
He clarified: There are many reasons for the emergence of this crisis in Iraq, not all of them internal. Foreign companies and the problem of Iranian money, which has not reached Tehran due to US sanctions, have made this crisis worse. The second reason is the stoppage of electricity towers in Iraq.
As the air temperature in Iraq increases and the cities of this country become hotter, the electricity crisis has once again become controversial in Iraq, so that the Iraqi media, criticizing the economic policies of the United States against the people of this country, announced that Washington, by continuing to impose the unfair policy of dollar exchange in Inside Iraq, the economic crisis in this country has turned into a people’s crisis and the people’s ability to provide electricity, buy medicine and basic necessities of life has faced a crisis.
Al-Maloumah news site reported on Sunday evening that “Mohammed Al-Shammari”, the representative of the Government of Law Coalition, criticized Washington’s economic policies against the Iraqi government and nation, and announced that the US, by interfering in Iraq’s economic policies, is trying to overthrow the government and control the market and people’s livelihood. .
In this connection, the coordination framework coalition asked the government to negotiate with Washington to provide the basis for the repayment of the Iraqi government’s financial arrears for importing gas from Iran.
