American concern increases with the release of Marib.
America’s greed for Yemen’s oil resources is obvious to everyone.
In 2018, news broke about an agreement between the UAE and the United States to establish US bases in southern Yemen, especially in Hadramaut province, to replace the UAE bases.
A few days earlier, the governor of Hadramaut had announced the cessation of oil exports from the province, and to resume oil exports, he had made three demands, including “payment of salaries for the armed forces in the region”, “payment of fuel for the power plant” and “allocation of 20 “Percentage of oil exports from the province to Hadramaut.”
The decision raised concerns about its negative impact on the budget of the Saudi-Yemeni US government, whose revenue relies heavily on Hadramaut oil, as Hadramaut exports 80 percent of Yemen’s 40,000-barrel oil reserves.
For this reason, the United States, in order to control Hadramaut oil, created fear among the people about the so-called terrorism of armed people so that it could remain in the region.
Some time later, the US Marines deployed in the area and inspected the vehicles of the citizens.
Earlier, the United States had sent troops to Hadhramaut province and strengthened its presence in Al-Mohra province under the pretext of pursuing terrorist groups.
This presence was especially evident in the city of Ghail Bawzir and Al Rayyan Airport with the arrival of dozens of soldiers, armor, military equipment and advanced weapons.
On October 12, 2021, the US Embassy set a reward for any information about al-Qaeda operatives attacking the USS Cole in 2000, which killed 17 American soldiers.
But everyone realized that this was a deceptive move to justify the deployment of American forces in Yemen, especially Hadramaut, because the United States had identified and killed nine people long before the attack, the last of which was Jamal al-Badawi, whom Trump announced in 2019. Kurd killed in US airstrike on Yemen
Therefore, with the advance of Ansarullah in Ma’rib, the US is more concerned about the loss of Yemen’s oil and gas resources, which is why it called for an end to the Ma’rib battle, because it wants the Yemeni people to remain in poverty along with the UAE and Saudi Arabia. And at the same time, to implement the new Middle East plan, but they know that this plan will be crushed under the feet of the resistance fighters.
