America is openly interfering in Russia’s internal affairs.
The Russian Embassy in Washington announced in a statement that the statements of the American authorities about the ban on homosexual advertisements in this country are “gross interference in the internal affairs of Russia”.
It is stated in this statement: We consider such statements to be gross interference in our internal affairs. Russia has consistently supported traditional family values. We openly talk about rejecting the efforts of Western countries, led by America, to impose pseudo-liberal and deviant ideas about human rights in other countries.
The statement further asks the US government and officials to respect the choice of the Russian people to adhere to the guidelines and norms that define the Russian civil identity.
US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken recently posted a message on Twitter and wrote, “The ban on homosexual advertising in Russia is another example and a serious blow to freedom of speech and human rights” and asked Russian lawmakers to repeal such a law.
