America gives another 5.5 billion dollars in military aid to Ukraine.

After the Pentagon’s statistics about Washington’s billion dollar aid to Kiev since the beginning of Russia’s special military operations in Ukraine, Washington announced the allocation of several billion more funds to this country.
The U.S. government announced Monday evening that it will send another $5.5 billion in military aid to Ukraine in the new fiscal year to help the country fight Russian aggression.
According to the Reuters news agency, the United States Agency for International Development announced the news and said that the $4.5 billion in financial aid will cover the immediate needs of the Ukrainian government, including pension payments, social welfare and health care costs, and the total of Washington’s financial aid to Kyiv. brings it to 8.5 billion dollars.
The organization announced that this financial aid, coordinated with the US Treasury Department through the World Bank, will be delivered to the Ukrainian government in installments, starting with the payment of $3 billion in August.
According to this report, the United States Department of International Development explained that the $1 billion weapons package announced by the Pentagon is also the largest single military package under President Joe Biden, which includes long-range missile ammunition and armored medical transport vehicles.
On the other hand, the US Department of Defense also said that since Biden took office, the US has provided $9.8 billion in security aid to Ukraine.
According to the Al Jazeera website, the new aid package will provide large amounts of ammunition and weapons that Ukraine is actively using and will be worth about $1 billion.
