The Algerian foreign minister said Morocco had reached a point where it was asking for help from Israel, which was dangerous and unacceptable.
Algerian Foreign Minister Ramatan Lamara said Morocco had conspired with elements of terrorist groups and to undermine its stability from inside Algeria.
“Morocco has reached a point where it is asking for help from Israel, while what Rabat has done is dangerous and unacceptable,” he told Russia Today.
“Morocco has accused Algeria of being a source of regional concern by spreading lies against Algeria’s foreign policy, while Morocco is an element of stability,” he said.
The Algerian diplomat blamed the occupation of the West in the Western Sahara for the region’s uncertain fate.
Regarding Algeria’s foreign policy, he said: “Algeria does not use voice diplomacy, it works quietly and quietly registers its positions through diplomatic channels.”
The Algerian diplomat stressed that the Algerian ambassador to Paris is still in Algeria for consultations and that the decision to block Algerian airspace on French aircraft is an independent and sovereign decision in response to France’s verbal violence.
He also described Algeria’s relations with Russia as historic, saying “the relations between the two countries are linked to a strategic agreement, and its diplomatic relations on African issues are also based on consultation and review.”

Diplomatic relations between Algeria and Morocco have been severed since early September as tensions escalated, with Algeria announcing that it had made the decision in response to Morocco’s unilateral policies.
Relations between Algeria and Morocco have been strained for decades due to land border disputes and the disputed region of the Western Sahara.
