Algeria emphasizes isolation of Morocco due to its military alliance with the Zionist regime.
The Algerian foreign minister said that the North African region would fall victim to the Moroccan military alliance with the Zionist regime, adding that the Morocco
would move away from Algeria with any step to strengthen its destructive military alliance with Israel.
Criticizing the normalization of Moroccan relations with the Zionist regime, the Algerian Foreign Minister said that the military alliance between the two is aimed at expanding their interests in the North African region at the cost of sacrificing the people there and depriving them of their inalienable rights.
“The umbrella of the Moroccan authorities for the Zionist regime in North Africa is clearly a sign of the unprecedented increase of Zionist hegemony over the region,” Ramatan Lamara said Friday, according to Russia Today.
He added: “Any action taken by the Moroccan authorities in a destructive military alliance with the Zionist regime will further alienate them from Algeria and its people.”
Al-Amara had previously said that from Algeria’s point of view, it would be better for Arab countries to support efforts to realize the rights of the Palestinian people instead of helping Israel to develop in the Arab regions.
Algeria has also stated its opposition to the decision of the head of the African Union Commissioner, Musa Faqi, to accept Zionist membership as an observer member of the union.
