Al-Mashat: Syria, led by Bashar al-Assad, celebrates US expulsion.
In a congratulatory message to the Syrian president on the occasion of the national holiday, the head of the Yemeni Supreme Political Council said that the Syrian people, led by their president, will certainly expel the last American troops from Syria.
The head of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, Mehdi al-Mashat, sent a congratulatory message to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on Sunday on the occasion of the National Day of Exile.
“We are confident that the Syrian people, under your leadership, will once again mark Eid al-Adha with the expulsion of the last American troops from Syria,” al-Mashat said in the message.
The last French soldier left Syria on April 17, 1946, and the people of this country celebrate this day every year as Independence Day and their national day.
