Al-Manar: The Americans violated the previous agreement on the transfer of Egyptian gas to Lebanon.
Some sources in the Lebanese Ministry of Energy reported that the Americans violated the previous agreements made with them regarding the transfer of Egyptian gas to Lebanon.
Dorothy Shea, the American ambassador in Beirut, congratulated Walid Fayyad, the energy minister of this country, on the signing of the agreement to transfer Egypt’s gas to Lebanon.
Citing some sources in Lebanon’s Ministry of Energy, Al-Manar reported that Shia told Fayyad that they will review the gas agreement signed with Egypt to ensure that the companies and institutions concerned are not on the US sanctions list.
Shia also said that Lebanon should implement corrective measures before entering into financial support, but according to some sources, this American request is contrary to what was previously agreed with the United States, and Lebanon was supposed to start financial support first. find and then take corrective actions.
