The Israeli Foreign Ministry is considering ways to deal with the Palestinians diplomatically because of Jordan’s support for the Palestinians.
Following the Jordanian Foreign Ministry’s recent stance in condemning Tel Aviv’s repeated attacks on the occupied city of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Zionist regime intends to take more diplomatic steps against the country and respond harshly.
According to the Arab 48 news website, the Israeli Foreign Ministry claimed in a statement on Monday evening that the summoning of the Israeli deputy ambassador to Jordan and the remarks of the official spokesman of the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Haitham Abolful, undermined efforts to establish peace in Jerusalem. Violence is on the rise.
The Zionists have acknowledged in the statement that Tel Aviv is committed to its agreements and is working tirelessly to ensure the religious freedom and worship of Jews, Muslims and Christians in Jerusalem [especially during religious holidays such as Passover and Ramadan].
In this regard, Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid yesterday (Monday) discussed the ways in which Israel intends to respond to the recent action of Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman al-Safadi to summon its ambassador.
Foreign Ministry officials in Tel Aviv have said they expect the Jordanian Foreign Ministry to calm the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories and to honor the sanctity of all religious holidays.
The Jordanian foreign minister told a parliamentary session yesterday that Jordan was continuing its efforts to counter Israel’s illegal actions to change the legal and historical status of Islamic and Christian holy sites, and that the temporal and spatial division of the holy shrine of Jerusalem would never be possible.
