Member of the Yemeni Political Council: After Marib, we will liberate the provinces of Shabwa and Hadramaut.
“The decision was made to liberate Marib from Sanaa, and after liberating this area, we will move on to other provinces occupied by the aggressors,” said Sultan al-Samiei, a member of the Yemeni Political Council.
“The Saudi coalition only brought the stigma of war to itself,” he said. The credibility of Saudi Arabia and its allies was shattered.
A member of the Yemeni Political Council said that the United States had involved Saudi Arabia in its invasion of Yemen, adding that the armed forces had identified hundreds of sensitive targets deep in Saudi territory, which would be targeted if the aggression and siege continued.
Al-Samiei added: “Saudi forces withdrew from Ma’rib province on the eve of the advance of the Yemeni armed forces and went to more distant provinces, and the Saudi mercenaries do not have a popular base in the occupied provinces.” He stressed that the Saudi coalition will be forced to stop the war and has no other choice. They have come to the full conclusion that it is impossible to defeat the Yemenis.
He addressed the Saudi-led military alliance, saying, “O’ tyrants, stop your aggression and siege for the famine and tragedy to end.”
Houthi said Yemeni armed forces and their allied fighters from Popular Committees did not initiate the war, demanding the Saudi-led coalition withdraw its forces in order for peace to prevail.
Mohammad al-Bukhaiti, another member of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, held the Riyadh regime and its regional allies responsible for the raging fighting across Yemen.
“Saudi Arabia and the rest of the coalition countries are the ones that initiated the aggression against Yemen and insist on its continuation. They are the ones behind the recent escalation in clashes in Ma’rib,” Bukhaiti told Turkey’s state-run TRT Arabi television.
Bukhaiti said, “We defend ourselves and retaliate against the coalition’s escalation by striking targets deep inside Saudi Arabia, and trying to seize oil installations in Ma’rib.”
