According to Putin, America, and Europe were reselling Ukraine’s exported grains in a shameless manner. He pointed out that this grain agreement had unfairly benefited them and strengthened their position.
Russian President Vladimir Putin criticized the previous grain agreement and said: None of the clauses of the grain agreement regarding the export of chemical fertilizers and Russian grains to world markets have been fulfilled.
He emphasized; Obstacles in the grain agreement even blocked Russia’s initiative to send free fertilizer to poor countries.
Despite the efforts made by the United Nations and Turkey, the grain agreement that was signed between Russia and Ukraine to export Ukrainian grain to world markets through the Black Sea last year ended on July 17, and there is no news of its renewal.
The United Nations and Turkey are trying to force Moscow to extend the agreement for another period, but there has been no response from the Russian authorities.
Dmitry Peskov, the spokesman of the Kremlin, said on Monday of last week: the agreement to export Ukrainian grain through the Black Sea ends today, and this agreement has been practically terminated for Russia. Russia will immediately return to it after fulfilling its demands under this agreement.
The President of Russia continued his statement and emphasized: The grain agreement with the resale of Ukrainian grain was shamelessly used to strengthen America and Europe.
He also said about Moscow’s relations with African countries: Russia attaches great importance to the meeting between Moscow and Africa in St. Petersburg, and during this meeting the action plan until 2926 will be implemented.
Putin emphasized that Moscow is actively developing its relations with Africa and other countries.
