Abu Sharif: The Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement continues to resist.
The representative of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement in Iran said that this movement will continue to resist and this resistance will continue until the complete liberation of the Palestinian land.
Nasser Abu Sharif, the representative of the Islamic Jihad movement in Iran, today (Wednesday) in a meeting entitled “Explanation of the achievements of the 55-hour war in Gaza” at the Islamic Republic News Agency, in response to a Fars reporter’s question about the future plan of the Islamic Jihad movement to replace the martyred commanders of this movement, said: The Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement continues to resist.
He added: “The ultimate goal has not been achieved and this resistance will continue until the complete liberation of Palestinian land.”
In response to the question why Hamas did not support the Islamic Jihad movement in the first hours, Khaled Qadoumi, the representative of Hamas movement in Tehran, said: We have formed a joint operation room since 2014 and we are coordinated. When we have a homeland, we have a common destiny. There is complete coordination between the Islamic Jihad movement and the Hamas movement, and this coordination was established at the same time. We contacted the Islamic Jihad movement in the first hour and emphasized their right to defend themselves.
Abu Sharif stated: Jabanesh Islamic Jihad is a Palestinian movement that was created for resistance, and as we have started our resistance, we will continue it until our final goal, which is the liberation of all Palestinian land.
The Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement has so far been involved in various battles, such as the first and second intifadas, as well as resistance operations, and the Islamic Jihad movement has been trying to change the field of resistance. The first and last goal of the Islamic Jihad movement is only Palestine. Dr. Ramadan Abdullah Shalah, the former Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, has a famous saying, he used to say that “when we look through the barrel of a gun, we only see Quds”. Therefore, based on this type of view, the Islamic Jihad movement has chosen the path of martyrdom for itself and this path continues.
Jenin Battalion is the largest battalion in the West Bank
Abu Sharif added: The issue of martyrdom in the Islamic Jihad movement is a natural issue and since the day this movement started its activity, it has given a martyr every day. The important thing is that the Islamic Jihad movement has the power to replace. The martyrdom of each of our loved ones makes our resolve stronger. Our commanders and troops are continuing to resist with the utmost courage. An example of this can be seen in the West Bank. In the West Bank, we created a battalion called the Jenin Battalion. All the people who created this battalion were martyred last year. But this battalion is the largest battalion in the West Bank and is expanding day by day. And this movement has continued to Nablus, Tubas, Ramallah, Hebron and Tulkarm, which are the cities of the West Bank, and its expansion is increasing day by day. The martyrdom of members of the Islamic Jihad movement in Palestine is not an obstacle to reaching the final goal.
