Speaking to Al-Ahd News Agency about the recent clashes in occupied Palestine and the Zionist regime’s aggression against Gaza and the resolute missile responses of the resistance, Ahmad Abdul Hadi, the representative of the Palestinian movement Hamas in Lebanon, said that this war has a series of strategic features and nature. It differs from previous battles in 2008, 2012, and 2014.
The Hamas representative in Lebanon added that the first distinguishing feature of this war from previous wars was that it united the Palestinian people in all parts of the land, from Gaza and the West Bank to Jerusalem and the 1948 occupied territories, in a plan of extraordinary national resistance; Because when the resistance in Gaza stood against the enemy with its weapons, the Palestinians in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem and the 1948 areas with the National Revolution supported the resistance in Gaza.
Ahmad Abdul Hadi said that another distinctive feature of this war is related to Quds; Because in the previous battles, the resistance stood against the enemy to defend the Gaza Strip, but the title of this war was the defense of Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque, which became a symbol of national and global resistance.
The Hamas official stated that in addition to that, there was a clear fact in this war, which was that this time the resistance took the initiative and not the Zionist enemy, and the resistance was not only in a defensive position. The Palestinian resistance in this war knew what to do and decided to win in Jerusalem, so it fired missiles at Tel Aviv and other Israeli cities.
He went on to say that the resistance carried out this battle wisely and cleverly and showed its abilities in a way that surprised the enemy, and if the battle lasted even longer, it would certainly have been accompanied by more surprises for the enemy.
