A joint military exercise between the United States and Arab countries in Saudi Arabia.
According to TRT, the Central Command of the US Army (CENTCOM) issued a statement announcing the start of the “Eagle Will 23” exercise in Saudi Arabia with the participation of the US and some member countries of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council.
According to this report, the said exercise is focused on air defense issues and confrontation with drones.
In the statement issued by CENTCOM, it is claimed that the exercise between the United States and the Arab countries is being held with the aim of checking the level of readiness of the forces in order to achieve regional stability.
This exercise includes shooting with combat bullets, air-ground defense equipment and anti-drone aircraft.
In the statement issued by CENTCOM, there is no mention of the duration of the said exercise, or the number of troops participating in it, or the names of the Arab countries participating in this exercise, except for Saudi Arabia.
The official Saudi news agency reported that the Eagle Will exercise 23 is being held with the aim of strengthening military cooperation and exchanging experiences in the field of ground, air and missile defense.
This news agency reported that before the said exercise, eight meetings were held to review this exercise and how to conduct it.
