A diplomatic source: Al-Kazemi will visit Saudi Arabia on Sunday.
A diplomatic source in the Persian Gulf said that the Iraqi prime minister will travel to Saudi Arabia on Sunday to announce the results of his visit to Iran.
A diplomatic source from the Persian Gulf countries in Riyadh said that Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi is expected to visit Jeddah on Sunday.
This source, who asked not to be named, added in an interview with the German news agency that Al-Kazemi will meet with “Mohammed bin Salman”, the crown prince of Saudi Arabia, and senior officials of this country during this trip.
According to him, in this meeting, Al-Kazemi will inform the Saudi authorities about the results of his recent trip to Iran, Tehran’s position regarding the plan of negotiations with Riyadh and raising the level of negotiations between the two sides to resolve points of disagreement and restore diplomatic relations.
According to Rai Alyoum newspaper, this Arab source also claimed: “Tehran’s response to the demands of Saudi Arabia, including stopping interference in the internal affairs of Arab countries, which is a threat to the security and stability of the region, can lead to the establishment of peaceful relations based on “Mutual respect will lead to the benefit of the interests of the nations of the region and its prosperity and progress.”
