71 wounded in the attack of the Zionist army on the funeral of a Palestinian martyr.
A Zionist militant attack on a Shiite funeral procession in occupied Jerusalem has injured at least 71 people.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society announced that at least 71 people were injured in an attack by Zionist militants on participants in the funeral of the martyr “Walid al-Sharif” in occupied Jerusalem.
According to Palestine Today, the occupying forces attacked the funeral of the body of Martyr Walid al-Sharif in occupied Jerusalem and also attacked the Mujahideen cemetery in the Bab al-Sahara area of occupied Jerusalem, targeting the participants as well as journalists with heavy plastic bullets.
Zionist militants also detained more than 50 Palestinian youths during the clashes, Voice of Jerusalem Radio quoted local sources as saying.
Walid al-Sharif, a 23-year-old Palestinian from the town of Beit Hanina in occupied Jerusalem, was martyred last Saturday due to severe injuries sustained by Zionist militants during attacks on the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the third month of Ramadan.
Occupying regime officials handed over the body of the martyr to his family on Monday evening from the police station in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of occupied East Jerusalem.
