Official sources say at least 163 people have been injured in Israeli security forces’ attacks on Palestinians protesting the “flag march”.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said at least 163 people had been injured in Israeli airstrikes on Palestinian protesters in and around Al-Aqsa Mosque, some of them by gunfire.
According to Al-Jazeera, the Palestinian Red Crescent said that our relief teams dealt with 163 Palestinian wounded in the old city of Jerusalem on Sunday, at least 20 of whom were wounded by live ammunition.
Al-Aqsa Mosque witnessed tensions from the early hours of Sunday morning, at the same time as the Zionist attack on Al-Aqsa Mosque and the holding of a ceremony called the Flag March.
Meanwhile, Zionist media sources say that clashes continue in 12 regions of the West Bank.
Today, more than a thousand Zionist settlers, with the support of the Zionist military, entered the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque and violated the Talmudic rites and provocative actions to sanctify the first qibla of Muslims.
In this regard, thousands of Zionist settlers held a so-called flag march in the Bab al-Amoud neighborhood of the old part of Jerusalem this evening, which led to clashes with the Palestinians.
The Times of Israel reported that a number of Israeli youths who took part in the flag march near Bab al-Damascus in the old part of Jerusalem chanted “Death to the Arabs” and also allegedly insulted their great prophet Islam.
