Social media has permanently blocked the personal accounts of a US congressman and supporter of the former president for publishing misleading information about the Corona virus.
The personal Twitter account of Republican Marjorie Taylor Green in the US House of Representatives was permanently blocked on Monday.
According to Reuters, the lawmaker from the state of Georgia is the first member of the US Congress to face a permanent blocking of his Twitter account.
Twitter has previously suspended the Twitter account of the pro-former US President Donald Trump’s envoy for spreading “misleading” information about the Corona virus, and this time the reason for permanently blocking his account is the repeated violation of Twitter’s policy of publishing false information about Corona virus has been reported.
“Twitter is the enemy of the United States and does not tolerate the truth,” Taylor Green wrote in a statement in response to the move. Technology giants can not stop the spread of truth. “Communist democrats cannot prevent dissemination.”
“You lucky people here in Alabama may knock on your door, because Alabama is probably one of the most unvaccinated states in the nation,” Green said in a speech in August.
Taylor Green’s sentence provoked a wave of laughter and shouts of joy among the audience. “Well, Joe Biden wants to come and talk to you,” he said.
“Biden will send a police comrade to your door to see if you have been vaccinated,” Taylor Green, who had previously likened instructions for wearing a mask and getting the Corona vaccine to Nazi Germany, said in a speech in Alabama.
