Saudi envoy: Riyadh closely follows Vienna talks; Iran should not procrastinate.
The representative of Saudi Arabia in the international organizations based in Vienna, while announcing that Riyadh is closely monitoring the current talks in Vienna, claimed that Iran should know that the delay is not in its interest and should not procrastinate.
“Riyadh is closely following the Vienna talks to restore order and the results achieved so far in the meetings,” Abdullah bin Khalid bin Sultan, Saudi Arabia’s representative to international organizations based in Vienna, wrote on his Twitter page.
He further claimed that the relevant parties have emphasized their desire to counter the escalation of tensions on the part of Iran in order to reach a comprehensive solution.
Abdullah bin Khalid continued: “While supporting and supporting Rafael Grossi’s efforts, we call on the international community to play a role in empowering the Agency to monitor and verify Iran’s nuclear activities in order to provide the necessary assurances about its nuclear program.” Act on its own and support these efforts.
He added: “We ask Iran to stop procrastinating and know that (time) is not in its favor. We call on Iran to stop the escalation and violations of its nuclear program and to threaten the non-proliferation system and to meet the demands of the international community, which will bring stability and prosperity to the region and the world.
