According to details, in a statement released on the social networking website Twitter, he said that all the main highways of Murree have been cleared for traffic, 600 to 700 vehicles were evacuated from Murree last night, for which Rawalpindi Police, district administration, Pak Army men and our local people remained active throughout the night. Police are present on the routes from Rawalpindi to Islamabad to Murree. The routes will remain closed even today.
Meanwhile, Chairman NDMA Lieutenant General Akhtar Nawaz has said that all the tourists stranded in Murree have been rescued. They were shifted to camps, for which rescue work was carried out jointly by Pakistan Army and civil agencies, while locals also assisted in the evacuation of tourists, thanks to which the tourists were shifted to safer places before nightfall. went.
