According to the company’s announcement, Huawei’s phones will run on the new system from June 2. Whether the operating system will be in the new smartphones or the software of the old mobile will be updated automatically.
In May 2019, the United States blacklisted 70 companies, including technology company Huawei, for espionage. The US Department of Commerce said the move would result in US government approval for the companies. Purchase of any equipment or technology from any US company will be prohibited.
