To help curb terrorism, the Facebook administration has taken an important step by introducing a new feature that can also help remove extremist thinking from the minds of people in the community.
According to the details, Facebook is introducing a new feature in the United States where users will be asked if any of their acquaintances are attracted to extremism, as well as users who view extremist content. Warning messages will also be sent.
Messages will automatically take the user to a page where they will have support to deal with it. Both features are being tested under Facebook’s Direct Director Initiative, which aims to help eliminate extremism.
