Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said that every promise made to the nation under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan will be fulfilled. Announcing a major project for clean drinking water, he said that there is no obstacle in the way of clean water for even a minute.
According to details, the Governor Punjab arranged a reception in honor of the ministers and MNAs. Among the federal ministers present on the occasion were Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Fawad Chaudhry, Asad Umar and Speaker Asad Qaiser, Minister of State Farrukh Habib, Zartaj Gul and Noshin Hamid among others.
At the reception, Chaudhry Sarwar announced a major project for clean drinking water and said that 6 filtration plants would be installed in each strong assembly and 3 in each provincial constituency. The Speaker, Ministers and Members of the Assembly expressed confidence in the performance of the Punjab Water and Water Authority.
The Governor said that plants would be set up in the constituencies of the National and Provincial Assemblies without any political distinction. He said that Punjab was ready to set up more filtration plants where necessary.
He also said that Punjab Water Supply Authority is free from corruption and is ensuring transparency. He said that every promise made to the nation under the leadership of the Prime Minister would be fulfilled and no obstacle would be tolerated for even a minute in the way of clean water.
Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar further said that the federation is also with the Pak Water Authority on the issue of clean drinking water in Punjab. At the reception, Chairman Pak Water Authority Dr Shakeel gave a briefing on the projects.
