Talking to media after the meeting of National Security Committee, Sheikh Rashid said that Noor-ul-Haq Qadri and I are in talks with the banned organization. The Prime Minister’s Office will issue a statement regarding the meeting of National Security Committee , government has to ensure the safety of lives and property of the people but at the same time maintain the writ of the state in all circumstances.
Earlier, a meeting of the National Security Committee chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan was held in which the sit-in of the banned party was considered. The meeting also considered other national security strategies including the march of the banned party.
It was informed that the meeting was attended by Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, DG ISI Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed, Naval Chief Amjad Khan Niazi, Air Chief Zaheer Ahmed Babar, DG IB, DG FIA, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi. , Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid, Fawad Chaudhry, Pervez Khattak, Noorul Haq Qadri participated.
On the other hand, the Federal Investigation Agency arrested 12 people running the social media network of the banned organization. And conducted operations in other cities including Islamabad, during which 12 people including Muhammad Hassan, Ghulam Shabbir, Shahzeb Nazir, Naeem Akhtar, Ayub, Hussain Rasool and Hamza Sheikh were arrested, FIA officials said. That these people were uploading hateful content and fake pictures and videos on social media.
