Khyber Pakhtunkhwa:
Terrorist attacks on security forces in different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s South and North Waziristan tribal districts martyred two soldiers and wounded nine others, officials said.
The incidents took place between Friday and Saturday night. A security force member was martyred and two others were injured in an attack on security forces in Shawal district of North Waziristan.
Sources said that while the security forces were conducting an operation in the area, an IED exploded but the personnel participating in the operation remained safe.
In addition, security forces came under attack in two districts of South Waziristan in which one officer was martyred and four others were injured.
Meanwhile, terrorists opened fire on a check post in Ladha but no casualties were reported. Authorities said the terrorists attacked a check post in Tiarza, 30km from the South Waziristan headquarters in Wana. , Terrorists hit the check post with several rockets.
Confirming the attack in Tiarza, District Police Officer Shaukat Ali said that one young man was martyred and five others were injured in the attack.
