Talking about Afghanistan in the National Assembly, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid said that fighting was taking place in 38 places in Afghanistan while 2400 Afghan personnel had joined the Taliban group with weapons.
“In such a situation, we will allow the minister to visit Shinwari in Torkham and Angor Ada on the Pak-Afghan border in Pakistan’s South Waziristan tribal region,” he said.
Sheikh Rashid said that we feel that the next two to three months are very important, we all political parties want to be ready for the situation.
Discussing the situation in the country, the Home Minister said that the main reason for the current economic situation in the country is the costly electricity agreements and if these agreements are revised then all the problems will die on their own.
Regarding the recent unrest in the National Assembly, he said that the Assembly was not well received by the educated class but thank God that an atmosphere of improvement has now been established.
“I am a political worker and the fact is that everyone goes to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), everyone goes because it is a compulsion that cannot be covered up,” Sheikh Rashid said.
The Home Minister said that for the first time, overseas Pakistanis under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan sent 9 9 billion in remittances and if it had not happened, we would have had to take Kashkool to neighboring countries.
Sheikh Rashid said that we are about to issue e-passport and all the pending visa issues will be resolved by this week. Credit goes to Prime Minister Imran Khan that all visas have gone online.
He said the e-Visa service has discouraged corruption, not blaming anyone because the whole system was such that a man needed a visa to deal with lower staff.
Sheikh Rashid clarified that the issue of 300,000 pending visas will now be resolved, from where he has to apply, he can apply online and the exit visa has also gone online.
He further said that the first identity card is free while passports can be obtained in a single day with an additional fee of Rs 2,180. The authority to open NADRA offices in all districts has been given to the Member National Assembly.
Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid said that if the pre-election reservations were not removed then transparent elections would once again be disputed and the situation would be similar to that of former President Donald Trump and Russia. We must complete the reconciliation process together.
