Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed took notice of the blast in Johar Town area of Lahore. He prayed for the injured in the blast and the Federal Home Minister sought a report from the Chief Secretary and IG Punjab.
According to details, Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed’s statement regarding Lahore blast has come to light, in which he said that the nature of the blast is being determined, federal agencies are assisting the Punjab government in the investigation, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed. Prayed for the injured in the blast and the Federal Home Minister sought a report from the Chief Secretary and IG Punjab.
It may be recalled that an explosion has taken place in Johar Town area of Lahore as a result of which more than 15 people have been injured while 2 people have been killed. The CCPO Lahore while giving details of the accident said that 2 One person was killed and 14 others were injured.
Experts are examining the nature. According to the DIG investigation, a pit has been dug at the site of the blast. After investigation, the cause of the blast will be revealed. Bomb Disposal Squad personnel have reached the spot and started collecting evidence. Police have cordoned off the area, CCPO Lahore said, adding that a policeman was injured in the blast. The blast may have been gas. Experts are assessing the nature of the blast.
In addition, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar has taken notice of the blast in Lahore, he has demanded a report from the IG Punjab while ordering an investigation, the Chief Minister said that the injured were given the best medical facilities. He directed to ensure the provision of all possible facilities for the treatment of the injured. Usman Bazdar directed to impose emergency in Jinnah and other hospitals.
