The Finance Bill has been passed in the National Assembly in the presence of Prime Minister Imran Khan. One hundred and thirty-eight votes were cast in favor of the motion and one hundred and thirty-eight against, but the motion to present the finance was passed by a majority.
According to details, the National Assembly session is being held in the Parliament House under the chairmanship of Speaker Asad Qaiser. Prime Minister Imran Khan is also present in the National Assembly session. The situation became interesting during the session when Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri moved the motion. The first two times the members were asked and the third time it was approved but the opposition member Nawab Talpur challenged it.
After being challenged by the opposition, the Deputy Speaker announced to hold a vote. The voting process was completed by Speaker Asad Qaiser. One hundred and thirty votes were cast in favor of the motion and one hundred and thirty-eight against it. Approved by a majority vote.
After the passage of the Finance Bill, the National Assembly is in the process of passing the Finance Bill 2021 clause by clause.
