Washington:
Edward Snowden, a former CIA operative and investigative journalist, has made the most shocking revelation about smartphones, saying that smartphones are a source of espionage and no phone in the world is out of reach of hackers.
According to international media reports, Edward Snowden, responding to a report published in an American newspaper regarding the Pegasus project, said that the smartphone is actually a mobile informant, through which the user can be easily monitored.
“Measures to protect smartphones are very important because all phones are easy targets for hackers,” he warned. A former CIA official said: “All countries in the world have been exposed to spyware. A common voice must be raised to ban trade because no phone in the world is out of reach of hackers.
“A mobile phone or a smartphone is actually your spy, the phone you’re apparently using is already under the control of hackers,” he said. The exiled American journalist said: There is an operating system, if one knows how to hack a phone, he can hack all the phones, this work is still going on and with the help of this, the data of the users is being sold.
“Hackers don’t care what country you belong to and what language you speak, they have access to everyone’s phone, we have to raise our voice at all costs,” he revealed. “If the buying and selling of technology is not stopped, the number of victims could rise from 50,000 to 50 million,” he said. “Anyone can solve this problem individually.” No, we have to change their game together, then the data will be safe.
