The Indian Delta virus is spreading rapidly in Shar-e-Quaid, which is a matter of great concern to the authorities. 80 cases were genotyped in Karachi yesterday, all came out as Delta variants . Due to violations of SOPs and non-implementation of social distance there has been a sharp rise in Corona cases.
According to the National Institute of Virology, the rate of Indian variant corona in Karachi has gone up to 100% while the wild type corona has been eliminated from Karachi. According to Dr Iqbal Chaudhry, the same cases were genotyped in Karachi yesterday.
Federal officials said that 8464 tests were conducted in Karachi yesterday, out of which 1393 cases of coronavirus were detected. According to the statistics, the spread rate of corona virus in Karachi has reached 16.46%.
On the other hand, medical experts in Karachi have started trying to artificially reduce the rate of corona, people are being tested unnecessarily to reduce the rate of corona. According to experts, Sindh Health Secretary Kazim Jatoi told DHOs. Testing targets are given, the higher the number of tests, the lower the corona rate automatically.
