Prime Minister Imran Khan called for widening the scope of relief under the Successful Pakistan Program and directed the deserving families to use all available resources to lift them out of poverty, including a plan to facilitate low-income families.
According to details, Prime Minister Imran Khan had a meeting with Finance Minister Shaukat Tareen and Special Assistant Usman Dar. In the meeting, Prime Minister Imran Khan was briefed on the preparations for a successful Pakistan program.
Instructing to expand the scope of relief under the program, the Prime Minister said that low-income families should be facilitated through the flagship welfare program. Finance Minister Shaukat Tareen said that the project was being finalized and would be launched across the country soon. Data of families is being obtained, relief will be given on a large scale.
Special Assistant Usman Dar said that a mechanism was being worked out to provide technical assistance with financial resources, on which the Prime Minister directed that resources be utilized to lift deserving families out of poverty.
