Prime Minister Imran Khan, Railway Minister and some other important political leaders have expressed deep regret over the train accident near Ghotki district of Sindh. The Prime Minister has also ordered a full investigation into the accident. At least 33 people were killed.
According to details, Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed regret over the train accident near Ghotki. In a statement released on the social networking website Twitter, the Prime Minister ordered a comprehensive investigation into the train accident. He directed to ensure the supply of foodgrains and full cooperation from the families of the deceased.
Railway Minister Azam Khan Swati has directed an inquiry into the Ghotki train accident in the light of the Prime Minister’s directive and has sought a preliminary investigation report from the authorities within 24 hours.
Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar has expressed grief over the loss of precious human lives in the train accident. In his message, Usman Bazdar said that the Punjab government shares the grief of the bereaved families.
On the other hand, Minister of State for Information Farrukh Habib said that four bogies of Millat Express were derailed in the accident. Yes, emergency has been declared in hospitals.
It may be mentioned that last night at Ghotki station, the Sir Syed Express heading to Karachi collided with the Millat Express on the track, as a result of which more than 33 people were killed.
