Srinagar:
PDP President Mehbooba Mufti, while exposing the atrocities of the Indian government in occupied Kashmir, said that the Indian government did not find peace even after inflicting all kinds of oppression on the Kashmiri people and now it has targeted Kashmiri children.
According to details, Mehbooba Mufti, president of the People’s Democratic Party in occupied Kashmir, has said that the opinion of the Kashmiri people regarding the launch of the annual Amarnath Yatra has no value.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Mufti made the remarks during a media interview in Srinagar after Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha met Indian Home Minister Amit Shah at his residence in New Delhi before deciding on the yatra.
Former Chief Minister of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti, when asked if the National Conference should participate in the delimitation commission, said, “I have read somewhere that the NC is joining hands with the BJP in Lahore.” They will better answer whether they will participate or not.
Meanwhile, the PDP chief said in a tweet that the arrest of a 15-year-old boy under UAPA was another example of institutional oppression.
He said that this government was not satisfied with turning Kashmir into an open prison where dissent was being crushed and now it was behind the children.
He questioned whether anyone in the country cared. He said UAPA was being imposed on 15-year-old children and they were being thrown in jails.
He said that the aim of the Indian administration was to suppress dissent in the Kashmir Valley but it would further alienate the people.
