Islamabad : The representative of the Hindu minority in the National Assembly of Pakistan from the ruling party of this country, Imam Khomeini (RA) called the popular leadership and respected by the freedom-loving nations of the world and added: The founder of the Islamic Revolution turned Iran into a country resistant to oppressors and guaranteed a bright future for the country.
Ramish Kumar, a representative of the Hindu community from the Tehreek-e-Insaf (current ruling party of Pakistan) in Islamabad, on Friday expressed his condolences to the people and government of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the 32nd anniversary of Imam Khomeini’s death and said: “He is the most influential figure.” For the nations of the world, they are beyond religious affiliation.
He said: The way Imam Khomeini led the popular uprising in Iran is a model for all countries. He turned Iran into a country resistant to the threat of oppressive powers.
The head of the Hindu Council in Pakistan added: “The Iranian people have always stood up to threats.” Despite international pressure, they never gave up under the pretext of Iran’s nuclear program and proved that they adhere to Imam Khomeini’s legacy of independence and the spirit of idealism.
He described Imam Khomeini as an honest, compassionate and far-sighted leader and said: “He guaranteed the future of the Islamic Republic of Iran, a bright and unique future that is the result of the resistance and unity of the Iranian people based on the ideas of the founder of this country.”
The representative of Pakistan National Assembly said: “Imam Khomeini’s role for the unity of Muslim nations is admirable and his thoughts have influenced even other freedom-loving nations of the world and this proves that the founder of Iran does not belong to a single school and religious ideology.”
He emphasized: The path of popular and historical personalities such as Imam Khomeini (ra) should be continued and occasions such as commemorating the anniversary of his death is an opportunity to explain the personality and thoughts of this great leader to the people by holding programs.
Paying tribute to the great founder of the Islamic Revolution, Ramish Kumar said: “We are proud of Pakistan’s long-standing and fraternal relations with Iran and our constant desire is to strengthen these relations and the stability of friendship between the two neighbors.”
Today, Friday, June 5, is the 32nd anniversary of the demise of Imam Khomeini.
