Has decided to revise the electricity prices for K Electric customers, in which the tariff has been increased for 4 months and the tariff has been reduced for 3 months. NEPRA has said that those with industrial support package will get the benefit of negative FCA up to 20 tariffs.
According to the details, NEPRA has issued a notification to adjust the monthly fuel charges for 7 months while revising the electricity prices for K Electric. NEPRA said that the tariff has been increased for 4 months and reduced for 3 months.
In June 2020 FCA items were reduced by 75 paise per unit, in July 2020 FCA items were increased by 73 paise per unit and in August 2020 FCA items were increased by 31 paise per unit.
The notification said that in September 2020 FCA items were increased by 71 paise per unit, in October 2020 FCA items were reduced by 3 paise per unit, in November 2020 FCA items were reduced by Rs 10 per unit and in December 2020 FCA items were increased by 50 paise per unit.
NEPRA says that the FCA of June, July, August, October 2020 will be applicable in the June 2021 cable while the FCA of September, November, December 2020 will be applicable in the July 2021 bill.
According to the notification, the tariff hike will be applicable to all customers of Electric except Lifeline customers while the reduction in tariff will be applicable to all customers of Electric except 300 units. The FCA will benefit.
