According to details, the monsoon system continues to rain across the country. Many cities were flooded after torrential rains, while a main river is also in danger of flooding.
It has been reported that there is a danger of flood in Chenab river due to monsoon rains. After the threat of flood, the concerned authorities took immediate action and issued a red alert and set up a flood relief camp. Preparations have been completed to deal with any emergency situation in the areas around the Chenab River.
On the other hand, after torrential monsoon rains in South Waziristan, the canals flooded and the Gomal Zam Dam broke at the site of the canal, after which the flood relay destroyed dozens of houses.
Apart from Waziristan, other areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also witnessed various accidents due to torrential rains and many people lost their lives due to these accidents. The monsoon system is also raining in Balochistan, Sindh and Punjab. Meteorologists have issued an alert for more rains in the coming days, in which case the NDMA has directed the concerned authorities of all the provinces to remain on constant alert.
It should be noted that the monsoon system entering Pakistan through India will remain in Pakistan for many days and the clouds will rain heavily. The monsoon rains are likely to continue for the next several weeks.
