Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi will leave for Turkey this week to attend a forum in the Turkish city of Antalya, where he is also expected to have a special meeting with the Turkish President to discuss various issues in the region.
According to details, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi will visit Turkey this week. Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s visit to Turkey will be for 3 days. The Foreign Minister will visit Turkey from June 18 to 20. During the visit, Foreign Minister will attend a forum held in Turkish city of Antalya. He is also expected to meet with Kuwaiti counterparts and other foreign ministers and diplomats.
According to sources, the Foreign Minister is also expected to have a special meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Shah Mehmood Qureshi will pay his third visit to Turkey in the last three months. It may be recalled that last month Prime Minister Imran Khan was telephoned by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The two leaders discussed Israeli barbarism and aggression.
Condemning Israeli aggression and barbarism, the two leaders agreed that Muslim countries should work together to speak out against Israel’s atrocities. The two leaders also agreed that the foreign ministers of the two countries should raise the issue of Palestine at the international level. Prime Minister Imran Khan said that he appreciated Turkey’s role in the Palestinian issue while appreciating Turkey’s efforts in the peace process and withdrawal of troops.
