Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar paid a detailed visit to different areas of Lahore without any protocol to review the sanitation situation. The Chief Minister himself drove the vehicle and directed to make the sanitation operation more speedy and efficient.
Chief Minister Usman Bazdar inspected the clean-up operation at Davis Road, Shimla Hill, Empress Road, Cooper Road, Montgomery Road, McLeod Road and Lakshmi Chowk. Chief Minister Usman Bazdar observed the sanitation arrangements in Fruit Hospital Road, Mall Road, Multan Road, Lytton Road, Ferozepur Road, Shah Jamal, Shadman and other areas. The Chief Minister visited the city for about two hours, during which no traffic was stopped at any place.
He stopped the vehicle and spoke to the workers conducting the clean-up operation. He commended the workers for performing their duties to provide a clean environment to the citizens.
The Punjab Chief Minister directed to make the cleaning operation more speedy and efficient. He said that zero waste operation should be ensured in the city at all costs, there would be no compromise on cleanliness and garbage and garbage should be picked up soon. Work day and night to clean up the city.
