According to details, a petition was heard in the Islamabad High Court against the ban on tik tok by PTA. Chief Justice Athar Minallah heard the petition. What? The only way to stop ticking is to shut down Google. This is the 21st century. People are connected to social media through livelihood.
The PTA lawyer said that the Peshawar and Sindh High Courts had asked for a ban and a mechanism, which the Chief Justice inquired whether the Peshawar High Court had ordered the closure of the entire Tik Tok. Lawyer PTA read out the decision of Peshawar and Sindh High Court to the court, on which the court said that nowhere did the two courts ask you to stop the tik tok.
The Chief Justice said in his remarks that such videos are also uploaded on YouTube, so you should also close YouTube, guide people not to watch wrong things, you have misused the decisions of both the courts. The Chief Justice said that When it comes to mechanisms, you create mechanisms, what option do you have to stop ticking? Why didn’t other apps close on the same grounds on which Tik Tok closed?
